Grana, a charming Italian restaurant located on Piedmont Avenue in Atlanta, has garnered praises for its delectable cuisine and inviting atmosphere. Known for its diverse pasta offerings, such as the Bucatini Limone and indulgent Gnocchi Sorrentino, Grana expertly balances traditional Italian flavors with a modern twist. The Paccheri Genovese, featuring tender short ribs and caramelized onions, stands out as a must-try dish. Customers rave about the vibrant ambiance, which is perfect for date nights or casual gatherings with friends. Many reviewers appreciate the attentive service, with staff who bring smiles and personality to the dining experience—whether it's playful banter or thoughtful gestures like complimentary cannoli. The menu extends beyond pasta to include mouthwatering options like Eggplant Parmigiana and Flat Iron Steak, ensuring something for everyone. Diners also enjoy standout appetizers like the Fried Brussels Sprouts and the famous meatball flight, with a nod to the flavorful pork and crispy veal meatball. Despite some noting the slightly higher prices typical of the Atlanta dining scene, the overall consensus is clear: Grana delivers an unforgettable experience filled with great food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. It's no wonder it has become a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.

While visiting my brother in law, he took us to Grana because he said it was one of his go-to spots in ATL. We really enjoyed the meatball flight, chicken cutlets, pizzas, and paccheri. Our server was attentive and the food came out from the kitchen quickly. They offered for us to sit on the rooftop, which sounded like a good idea, but it was super windy when we got up there. We appreciated that the staff was really nice and accommodating about letting us go back downstairs. All around a great meal!

This was my second time visiting Grana in a long time! Food: For our appetizer, we got the Fried Brussel Sprouts and these were insanely good! I remember being so impressed with the flavor profile of them even last time I visited, and having them again last night gave me the same feeling. Definitely a must-try even if you don’t typically enjoy brussel sprouts! For my main dish, I got the Gnocci Alla Sorrentina, served with pomodoro, basil, and mozzarella. The portion is smaller than some of the other dish options (like the eggplant parm), but pretty standard for a pasta dish. The flavor was just okay. We also ordered the Wild Mushroom Pizza for the table and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the caramelized onions that come on it. Service: Our server was really fun! He was making fun of me for various things throughout the night (which were deserved in my opinion lmfao) but it was obviously in a non-serious manner. At the very end of dinner he brought me a free cannoli as an apology for picking on me which was very kind of him. If he sees this I hope he knows I also completely took his comments as a joke so I hope he doesn’t feel badly about it. Cannoli was great also LOL. I also wanted to make a note about the service in general: it is outstanding! Even when I was passing through the restaurant to go to the restroom some servers were walking around and I would say excuse me and pass them and they would say be very kind and say “no excuse me” or “let me get out of YOUR way”. The staff also seems very patient. I was extremely impressed with how great the service was. Atmosphere: Very cute interior and exterior area. I love the lighting, it feels brightly lit while also maintaining a somewhat romantic aura. Fun spot for a date night or hang out with friends. We went on a Tuesday so it wasn’t super busy either. TLDR: Cutesy/casual place to visit and grab dinner! Fun atmosphere and good food.

We loved the ambiance and vibe of the place. We ordered the famous meatball flight and our favorite was the pork & crispy veal meatball. Our least favorite meatball was the local beef meatball bc it was on the sweeter side with the black truffle jam. The drinks were very good. They have free valet which was nice and we were able to get a keepsake matchbox too! I will say the prices are a bit pricey but then again it is Atlanta

We sat on the rooftop at 3pm and it was such a nice summer vibe. The food was very good especially the pizza. But the best part was the staff personalities. All happy to be there which was so nice! Very nice place we will be back for more pizza. ASAP!

Good vibe. Sat at bar with Janae new to Grana. She ensured we were taken care of in between working the bar and restaurant. I was undecided on cocktail so she made me a birthday cocktail with amaretto. It was tasty. Great spot valet parking on a Thursday wasn’t too crowded. I recommend will eat there again.

My new favorite Italian spot in ATL!! Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS. Our server was super helpful & friendly, too! Highly recommend the meatball flight & Caesar salad but I honestly think you can’t go wrong with anything they offer!

If you live in the A you know you have to make reservations 2 months in advance due to the high volume of people celebrating whatever Holiday. Well, I forgot but Grana on Piedmont had some open spots so I made reservations there for me and the wifey on Valentine's Day. Extremely happy that we did because we ended up having Hannah as our server. She was fantastic! Told us about the menu, made suggestions, and even shared a common interest in fresh garlic with me. The food was hot, fresh, and looked as advertised. The ambience was warm and welcoming. The rooftop was really nice as well and the old fashioned that I had was strong and tasted good. Overall, we are making this a go-to spot for Italian food. Try the meatball flight! It will not disappoint!
